Champion Car Wash Presents the Back Porch Concert Series at Fontanel – Last Shows of the Season

The Champion Car Wash Presents Back Porch Concert Series at Fontanel is coming to a close after the next two Thursday evening events on September 21 and September 28. Both concerts are scheduled for 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM and will be held at the Back Porch stage, located at Fontanel Attractions, 4241 Whites Creek Pike.

Brian Bayley, Fontanel Director of Entertainment and Events, says, “You won’t want to miss our last two concerts of the season. Bring your lawn chair and maybe a blanket.

This Thursday enjoy music performed by the wildly popular Strung Together Bluegrass Band.  The Strung Together Band plays a little bit of everything- folk, old-timey, Americana, spirituals, a bit of bluegrass and a dash of country.  But whatever they are playing, their songs will tell you a story.

Next week, September 28, enjoy the Americana music of Don Gallardo, who according to Rolling Stone Magazine is one of the 10 country artists you need to know.” The Native Nashvillian (since 2008) is a country-folk prodigy with an affinity for Appalachia who has a soulful, smooth-operator style.

Bayley adds, “The live music is the perfect backdrop to jumpstart the weekend. It’s a great night to bring your friends, family, colleagues, and even bring your dog! It’s always a great Thursday night party; Back Porch-style!”  Both concerts are intertwined with a classic and modern muscle car show.  Admission is free, and every attendee will receive a free Grand Champion Carwash coupon worth $18! In addition to the live concerts, Fontanel also provides numerous lawn games, a fire pit, food vendors and a full bar.
